I have been SWAMPED for the last 2 months - hence the blog absence! My photography business really picked up in October (in time for the holidays) so I've had at least 2 shoots every weekend since then...and I'm LOVING every second! The more pictures I take the more I realize how much I love it - this is really my passion. I just enjoy it so much.
After we got back from Costa Rica it took a week or so to get back in the swing of things. Before I could really settle down and relax it was already Thanksgiving! We had a low key Thanksgiving. We woke up and watched the Macy's parade at our house then went to my parent's house for lunch. It was delicious!
Right after we left my parent's house we went to Best Buy because there was a TV we really wanted - a 42inch for $199! Honestly, we just enjoy black friday shopping (I know we're crazy) and it has become a tradition now! We waited outside in line for 5 hours. By this point there were probably 400 people in line (in the freezing cold) and we were number 37. Only the first 12 people got tvs! When we found that out, we went to Target and waited another 2 hours just to see what they had. It was midnight at this point and we were already up so we just decided to go everywhere! We got a tv there and then went to WalMart - it was ludacris. But we had fun!
Since then I've had a couple more photoshoots and we've been slowly getting out all our Christmas decorations! I think I'm almost done decorating. I love this time of year SO MUCH! We are just relaxing at home tonight and tomorrow we are going to the Starry Night Gala in Madison. Busy, busy, busy! The holidays always go by so fast.

We went Black Friday shopping too :) I wanted to get that tv at Best Buy too but after I read in the paper that it was a minimum of 10 per store, I just said forget it. : )
