the day the music died

August 29, 1958 – June 25, 2009
Your music transcends time - you are a true legend and will be missed. Rest in peace.
Danny and I were sitting in the living room flipping through the channels when we saw the headline on E!News: Michael Jackson is Dead. We were in shock. Is this really happening? He is only 50 years old! Michael Jackson had a big impact on Danny's life when he was growing up - and I could tell he almost cried when he saw that headline on tv. I mean MJ is timeless! I wasn't even born when Thriller came out, and yet it is one of the most defining songs of the last 30 years. He was a true entertainer and legend, and I honestly do not think we will ever see anyone like him again. What a sad day yesterday was. I hope you find peace, Michael.

we will always be dreamers..

Our Story:

Danny & I met at Walt Disney World! We were both doing college internships there in 2007. We fell in love and were able to experience the happiest place on earth together! Our internships lasted 7 months, and the rest is history. So of course, Orlando & most importantly, Disney World, will always hold a special place in our hearts.

"I hope we never lose sight of one thing - that it was all started by a mouse." -Walt Disney

updates

I went to Memphis for work on Wednesday and got back yesterday afternoon...long boring drive but it was a good trip. We're spending Father's day with my brother & parents on Sunday. My dad just got a big green egg so he is super excited about cooking on that. Danny doesn't get off work until 7 tonight - not sure what we'll end up doing. I want to float the Bogue Chitto river this weekend...we'll see if the weather is good. Still planning our Costa Rica trip in December - can't wait!
